Description These are the first 5 pages of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: Defiance, the upcoming comic book series from IDW Publishing that ties into this summer's upcoming Transformers move sequel.

These pages were recently revealed as a preview on IDW's forums.

These first 5 pages were my layouts, pencils and inks.

This is the most fantastic piece of Transfor,ers art I have ever seen in a comic, who cares if it doesn't feature any robots, look at the sheer amounts of detail in this awesome piece of landscape and archetecture.

You really need to be seriously commended on your lines my friend.

when I saw the colored piece I felt as if I was there walking up the Pyramid.

Thanks for the compliment on my animated stuff.

I have been sincerely busting my but on perfecting the coloring and getting a better feel for that series.

I have always loved coloring cartoon styles(made for tv)

yeah, the comment was intentionally made to get you worried for a brief and short moment lol.

And to add to it I seriously believe that to be some of the great backdrop artwork IDW has ever produced.

I've always loved scenes like this, but only see it in photos. did you happen to use a photo as reference?

No directly, I did a bit of research into pyramid construction and theorized techniques, but it wasn't directly copied off of any on image.
