It seems that whoever brought him up told him how magic is not necessary in life and only should be used in an emergency. He's a bit of a worry-wart, and gets spooked easily around magic, which can be a difficult factor considering the recent boom of classes. Beyond that, though, Retro absolutely loves making wood carvings and talking about the outdoors with his peers. He loves to go camping! He is a bit of a loner however, and is often put off by most wynglings at first.
