Description Something that didn't take me months of delay to complete! A follow up from this:[link]
I actually prefer the previous one, I'm not sure why that is. I think I captured the loneliness and desperation better in that one.

STORY:

Anaria (High Elf) and Mitheria (Human) had heard their friend Tythalia
had gone missing somewhere within the dark regions of Icecrown Glacier,
fearing the worst, they rushed to search for her, as well as the group
of other adventurers she had gone with, securing passage on a brave
Bronze Drake, the two heroines flew over the vast, dangerous wastes that
were crawling with undead below. after investigating several different
spots across Icecrown, and turning up little to nothing, they eventually
made their way to the Crusader camp outside Icecrown Citadel, upon
reaching this, they discovered that Tythalia and the group she was with
had entered the Pit of Saron a while ago.

With that knowledge, the two set off towards the ominous pit with haste. when they entered,
they discovered that most of the undead near the entrance had been
cleared out, and most of the slave workers saved, granting them easy
passage through the shadowy quarry. they would, occasionally encounter a
small number of undead here and there, but the Paladin and the Mage
easily dispatched them, and continued onward. eventually they came upon
Jaina, who had lead the incursion into the quarry, and they asked her
about their missing friend, and her group, hoping to get pointed in the
right direction. Jaina soon revealed that she had seen her group head
off to engage the Forgemaster not long ago, which spurred Mitheria and
Anaria into action.

The duo hurried towards the platform on which the Forgemaster did his work,
but upon passing a few of the bone pits, what sounded like a muffled cry drew heir attention,
both immediately looked down into the pit, and sure enough, they spotted Tythalia,
encased in what looked like a bone wrapping, with a large, skeletal hand
over her mouth. Mitheria started to climb down into the pit, worried
about their trapped Night Elf companion, and the High Elf mage followed,
though more cautiously. "be careful Mitheria, you don't want to get-"
she started to say, but she was suddenly interrupted by a flock of
skeletal birds, which dove at the two descending into the pit, and
eventually both fell into the bone piles, though it was not a far fall.

Both had landed only a short distance away from each other, and they quickly
recovered, Mitheria helping Anaria up to her feet as they watched the
bone birds fly away. "well that's one way to get down" said the Paladin,
which lead Anaria to roll her eyes in response. all seemed well until
they looked around, their fall had attracted the attention of several
bone hands that emerged out of the piles, and they rushed the two
heroines from all sides. the Paladin and the Mage destroyed countless
bone hands as they fought, but they kept coming, and as they began to
tire, one grabbed Anaria's ankle, and when Mitheria dove to it, chopping
it apart, her back was turned to yet another attack. the bone hand
caught the Paladin by surprise, and after yanking her wrists behind her
back, it quickly spun around Mitheria, winding around her, and finally
clamping down tightly over her mouth, the bones encased her, and gagged
her, stifling her spells just like it did to Tythalia.

Anaria noticed this, spinning around she ran over to her, and she began casting
a spell to free her, but a skeletal hand emerged behind her, and it
began by clamping over her mouth, silencing her and cancelling the
spell, she struggled and fought to remove the hand as the rest of the
boney arm began to encase her next to Mitheria. would these two heroines
manage to escape? or are they trapped in the dark bone pits of the
quarry?

I love this one as well, though now I'd love to see a Pandaren Monk join in to attempt a rescue before she joins the other in the "party queue". [link]

I really should do some Pandaren stuff, but I'm sure there's something more fitting of a Pandaren to be found in Pandaria, instead of using Lich King area stuff.

True, though while fighting off a sha would probably be more appropriate, the monk vs. bone chains would seem to be an interesting fight. n_n

By all means, idea's are always welcome.
Sha of Lust would actually be quite fitting.

Oh, a follow-up, the first one was one of my favourites of yours.
Very nice, quite like it. Though I agree that the previous one was better, it may be the sense of fear and desperation as you said.
Also think I preferred Tythalia. But that said it was great to see and read
