i tried killing one. i just went for the dragon words and left.

try using shock spells or staves like chain lightning or lightning bolt will lower their magic and damage them greatly and bring lots of potions and filled soul gems.

i actually killed one. but he kept missing me. dragons are easy: swing, hit, hide n' heal, repeat.

their attacks are really predictable. The lower leveled Dragon is easy to dispatched compared to the Legendary dragon. Damn that beast killed me multiple times.

not quite. Alduin's a total weakling compared to the Legendary dragon, a new dragon type from Dawnguard DLC

once you've reached lvl 70+, beware! they're much MUCH tougher than Alduin and Ancient Dragon combined! Plus they can do a shout that drains health, stamina and magicka so watch out for the purple blast it launches at you.
