This is my entry for 's contest!!! There is still time to enter for the chance to win a Wacom tablet!!
Contest Time: win a wacom tablet! (prizes added)"Contest time is here again, woohoo Do you want to win a tablet Wacom Bamboo?" Yes, I'm having a drawing contest and first prize will be a Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch CTH 460 tablet (second hand but fine,still had guarantee in fact when I got it and used it like 2 times so..), there are also premiums, points, features, etc etc to win. If you already have a tablet but know of someone that would love it, you can enter on their behalf. The tablet will be shipped WORLDWIDE. (quick explanation: I am visually impaired. A friend of mine gave me her tablet since she had a better one hoping I would somehow manage it even with my wonky eyes. Well I couldn't so if it interest someone..) And now you wonder, what kind of contest? (voice of Evan mc Gregor in Moulin Rouge) "The contest is about... love." You will find more details in the journal here but the theme is quite simple: 
My entry goes in for my sister, . She is an amazing artist but has not been able to get a tablet since hers broke. I would love to give her this one if by some slim chance I would win. However, there are tons of amazing entries already, and I am sure many more to come! I will be happy for whoever wins!! 
There is a little bit of a story behind this picture.

Okay, so I'm an absolute sucker for the whole "family snuggled up together" thing, so this was an absolute delight to find!
I think my only thing with it would be why Merem is the only one to be fully clothed? The positioning of the blanket and Sugeru's hand are perfect for avoiding accidental peeks, and I think it would have delivered a stronger sense of innocence and raw emotion if Merem had also been bare. A sort of "stripped to the core nature/feelings/love" sort of thing. That's just my thought, though, and the finished product is no less beautiful.

As innocent as it would be, since I draw in a place where my kids have full view I choose to be careful with what I draw.

Is it a good busy? We've been busy here, too. Mostly with work and family up because of the holidays. My kids are in a big Christmas program this year so we've been pretty busy with that. I've had this silly cold for forever, it seems. But other then that I've been good.
I hope your sister feels better and that things quiet down for you! Sometimes even if it is a good busy, it can be exhausting. Make sure you get your rest!

Yes, the colds this year do seem to drag... and when you think they are gone they sneak right back in. I am hoping that my stress and lack of sleep (I'm trying to make sure I get it) do not make me vulnerable to a virus!

Thank you! My kids are loving being in the program. They have performed it once already and did so well! One more time to go! There are so many little ones in there that it is just adorable to watch!

She had inflamed lungs and her asthma is "not under control". She had a really bad cold and then an asthma attack. Now she can breathe ok, but her asthma is being triggered by every little thing and her chest still hurts really bad. She went back in to the doctor today and got some different medicine. She has got through three days of school now in a row, with minimal coughing so she should be good through to Christmas break as long as nothing severe triggers it.
I am glad that they (and you) are enjoying it! I really miss going and either being in it or watching my brother/sister in it. The little ones are always adorable

She's 14 and I don't know if she will be able to grow out of it since she has only had asthma for the past couple of years.

You deserve to win! And I'm saying that without seeing the other entries- but this is amazing!!! I keep changing which is my favourite piece of yours because you keep producing such breath-taking work! You can tell you've poured your heart and soul into this and it's amazing! I love the textures of hair and fabric and the cute family pose. The baby in particular is incredible- children are so difficult to draw!
