My Overwatch Experience:
I fucking love Overwatch, I can't wait for it to release. I played a total of 30 hours in the open beta alone, 9 hours in Mercy too. Here's my playtime: pbs.twimg.com/media/CiHV9hkXAA…

Mercy is the most exciting character to me and I genuinely mean that. Big resurrections are super satisfying, keeping the team topped up and helping them deal more damage feels good and being able to do damage yourself means I'm not a slave like the medic. She's everything I loved about the TF2 medic and more. She has mobility, she's useful outside of healing, she has a lot to manage with building ult. and the damage boost, picking when the best time to rez is. She's one of the most fun and involved support classes I've ever played. A Mercy can honestly carry a team in some ways. (Unless your team is just running deep into enemy territory and dying in which you can't do a thing without killing yourself.)

Overwatch is overall a great game. I wouldn't compare it to TF2 though as they are completely different beasts. I did compare Mercy to Medic earlier but that's about where comparisons end honestly. Some characters have similar traits, same game modes and that's about it. Even though the characters may have similar abilities and the game types may be the same, it all plays out completely differently. However, that doesn't mean TF2 players won't enjoy the game, I feel that most people who play TF2 will enjoy it except for one thing...

I watched this this morning and it's soooo bias it's unreal, I thought it was a joke and at the end he'd be all "Haha, pranked, gotcha!" but nope. His main complaints are "The medic doesn't do enough damage"(He doesn't know what he's doing), "Melee damage is garbage"(They're not meant to do huge damage (for what they are) like in TF2, they are for cleaning up if you have no ammo left), "There's too many heroes" (What? I'll touch on this later.), "There's a lot of spam" (There isn't btw fam) and "THERE'S NO ROCKET JUMPING WTF".

Okay, so to go back to "There's too many heroes" I don't see how a game can be criticized for having too much options and content. It keeps matches fresh and new with different combinations of heroes, it allows everyone to pick a character that works with their play style. It's like criticizing a fighting game for having too many characters because there's too much matchups to learn. USF4 has 44 characters, Smash 4 has 55 and, to take an example from a MOBA, DOTA2 has 111 characters.

The dude has 152k subs so he may have an influence on a lot of peoples decision to buy the game, especially with how brain dead some people can be, they just follow whatever someone on youtube says.

TL;DR: Overwatch is really fun, possibly my game of the year. Mercy is my favourite character, she's medic but much better. Overwatch != TF2 so don't look at it that way. ArraySeven is an whiny fanboy.
