Truth or dare?

He just wouldn't stop, would he? Repeatedly, he kept asking her if she wanted to play 'truth or dare' and repeatedly, she told him the same answer. [Name] wasn't interested in playing such games. Sure, it was fun when she played it when she was still a kid, but she's grown out of it. Besides, [Name] needed to do her homework. Playing truth or dare would only waste her time.

Today was none other than different.

"So, [Name]—"

"No." she quickly interjected. "No, no, and no."

"It'll be fun," Kuroo tried to reason. "You need to relax sometimes."

But [Name] wasn't so easily convinced. He should have figured that out from the start. "I can't relax when you're constantly asking me to play 'truth or dare' with you." she pointed out harshly. "Why do you want me to play it so bad, anyway? Don't you let your team play it with you? And honestly, you're 17. Grow up a little, will you?"

"Must you always wound me with your cruel words?" he says — a bit too dramatically, if I may add. Kuroo walks forwards to her direction and stood beside her, taking up the chance to slide his right arm around her neck. [Name], however, was used to this touch and didn't bother to slap his arm away, it'd be useless, anyway. "So, how about it? Truth or dare?"

Finally, the girl gave up. "Fine." she said. "But one round only."

Kuroo gave her a smug smirk that screamed mischief.

He finally let go of her and sat on an empty desk. He patted the seat next to his, motioning over to come and sit next to him. 'The guy is still a child.' she kept murmuring to herself. What surprised her the most, however, is that how she willingly sat next to him with no hesitation.

"I pick dare," [Name] said, not wanting to waste anymore time. She felt daring today.

Kuroo, as well, did not want to waste any time as he immediately told her dare. "I dare you to say 'I like you' ten times."

At first, she was confused. Out of all dares he could have chose, he picked that instead. Though, it didn't bother her. At least it wasn't anything extreme. For all she knew, Kuroo could have told her to kiss a certain someone. She was just lucky that he didn't chose that as her dare.

Sighing, she began to speak. "I like you, I like you, I like you, I like you—" but before she could continue repeating the words, she instantly shut her mouth and her cheeks were covered in the colours of red and pink. This was embarrassing! She couldn't believe that she actually said those words — and in front of him, nonetheless! How embarrassing.

Kuroo was smirking. Damn him. "Ah, I didn't know you liked me so much. I'm touched, really."

"You fucking bastard—" When she was about to slap him, he wasn't in his seat anymore.

Kuroo already went running, saying something about 'being late to his volleyball practice'.

That sneaky bastard.

And little did [Name] know, Kuroo liked her back, too.
