It might be my fault he's such a braggart, guys. I battled Rattatas, level four on four, with him and found out my own Rattata had missed Quick Attack from leveling up on the PokeWalker. So he really did have the better Rattata at the time. D:

I've seen 2 comics based off that little bastard so far.
One shows Gold trying to sneak into Team Rocket headquarters, but Joey calling about his damn Rattata gets Gold caught.
The other one shows Rattata threatening to cut Joey's throat unless he called to tell you about him.
They're funnier outside of my words.
