while ditzy's life is just about the same, rainbow's life has taken a big turn
rainbow dash didnt win the race against her bullies, she never made her famous rainboom. from then on she hated competing, she hated loosing and she hated that she could protect and help her friend fluttershy.
she ran away from her camp and orphanage and went to find fluttershy who fell down into the everfree forest. it was many long years of searching and many adventures. she fought monsters and collected treasure. she made herself a home in the forest in a large cabin after meeting a friendly Stallion who had lived in the woods for many many years and took in the young rainbowdash as his own.
rainbow dash finally heard the new of prince blueblood taking in a wild mare from the everfree and was teaching her to live in a social world with other ponies.
she was relieved to finally hear her friend was safe after the years of searching and growing worry.
with her heart at ease she turned to focus her on writing of her adventures and soon enough she was publishing her books to the public.
five books later she was a famous author.
as for ditzy doo; she was a big fan of rainbow dash's books and often had the satisfaction of delivering a crate of her novels and getting to take a book for her efforts in payment. However, having one of these beloved crates smacked down on top of one her wings crushing in the middle of the everfree forever was not what she had wanted out of the job. Ditsy Doo was saved by the adventuring rainbow dash and for days was cared for in her cabin in the forest.
the days turns into months together as ditzys wing healed up. and rainbow dash loved to tell her about all the storys she hadnt gotten into books yet. rainbowdash loved having someone to protect one again, company in her life whoe admired her.
When Ditzy Doos wing fully heal she didnt return to ponyville but instead became a sidekick in Dash's adventures.
