Do you have any idea how insulting and hurtful it can be to have people publically devalue your art, especially something you put a lot of time and effort into? Just because you personally do not think something is worth the price does not mean it isn't worth it to others, and people defending artists against shitty comments like these are far from "white knights". They are simply people who recognize how hurtful it is to have their work devalued and wish to educate people on why they should keep those comments to themselves.

no one is mad at you! just please understand when someone comments on an adoptable complaining about the price, whether it be a $1 adopt or a $1000 one, it's lowering the artists self-value and it looks as if you're saying that it's not worth the time and love put into it.
