theres so much to tell!
im currently redoing her home right now with a bigger terrarium and more hides for her so i will take photos when it's all set up!
how much have you saved up? my bab was about $60 from a local breeder of mine, and i would suggest looking for your own ball python breeder too! they have a lot of knowledge about snakes and cost half as much as pet stores (a normal ball python might be $120 in a petstore) 
her setup was about $250 for the small tank, heating pad and hides
and her food is about $5 a week! (live rats)
they're super easy to take care of too! eat every 5-7 days, and dont smell/make much sound! if you get one as docile as mine they wont hiss or bite either, but i've seen some pretty nasty snakes too
feel free to note me if you have any further questions! i'd be happy to give my opinion and wisdom with them

i have like $0 saved up lD 

because i keep buying my boyfriend things !! [and ive been renewing things for myself, too! haha whoops] 

my mother and i did try to look for some breeders, but they just dont have any near where i live! ;___; (and my mom isn't willing to have a 2-3 hour drive up or down indiana, haha x___x ) 

at my petsmart they have ball pythons for 65 dollars! i think. o:

i feed mine live med rats! though in a year or so she will eat live adult rats, which i will have to knock out before hand
you must be prepared to kill rats/mice in most cases (even if frozen, it's still slightly unappealing) 
it doesn't bother me though, i don't like most rodent pets

Yeah, the reason I haven't gotten a snake yet is that I like all animals, even rats, and can't bring myself to kill them. I would've bought frozen, but I'm not sure if a snake would be interested.

It's all a matter of what the snake is raised on. My corn snake is like 20 years old and eats frozen rats, thawed out of course. Tbh I always was told that feeding frozen was safer because if the snake doesn't eat the rat right away there's a good chance the rat will attack and injure or kill the snake in defense. But I'm sure Emma knows what she's doing so it's all about keeping a watchful eye while feeding :3
