But back to Omri. He also put down a rivalry with a man named Tibni, who he defeated to secure his throne. He is marked as doing evil as those before him.

I wanted to portray him as a warrior as most of what it says was him conquering, securing power, and building a capitol city. Perhaps he is better known for the deeds of his son, Ahab.
