Gaia is actually rather chill. She'll happily lay around and do jackshit nothing. She's a good conversation and just hangin' about is one of her favorite things. She's a bit lazy, but she loves the people. She likes to believe that a little sass and sarcasm are good for people, so she happily shells it out in big fat rations. When she isn't sitting on her fat butt she struts about swaying her hips and turning heads. Gai goes with the whims of her heart and is a positive hound. Gaia isn't all butterflies and rainbows though. The perky pup has her own demons. Gaia is a schizophrenic. On her good days, no one wouldn't even guess her condition. The only physical signs of her condition is the hairless patches on her right foreleg. On her bad days Gaia is a demon in the body of a dog. She'll twist and writhe on the ground, shrieking and making all sorts of ghastly noises and babbling about nonsense things. She'll chew on her leg and rip out her fur by the mouthfuls. After the episode she's very reserved and will often seclude herself from others. Gai isn't sure what causes her episodes sometimes its completely random, other times she thinks its spurred on by emotional stress. But, if you can get past her episodes she's funny and loyal with a chipper personality.

Background:

Gaia was born to a long line of show dogs. At first sight, Gaia was no different than the rest of her litter. But when she was about a year of age was when Gaia had her first episode. After dozens upon dozens of vet visits and dozens of episodes it was decided that Gaia would be retired long before her career even started. Well of course something like that would never be acceptable in a show dog. So the all the training she had been put through was thrown out. She couldn't have been used as a breeder either due to the fear that her condition would be spread to her offspring. So, all the hope and work that had gone into Gaia went to waste. Her owners had no use for a dog they could neither show or breeding so she was of no use to them. At first they attempted to sell the dog as a pet, to at least make back a little money they had spent on all the vet bills they had racked up trying to find out what was wrong with her, but no one wanted a dog that went into fits, pulling out her own hair and on the rare occasion attacking other dogs or people. So what else were they to do? They drove Gaia out to a landfill and dumped her there. Gaia, now nearly two years old and completely inexperienced with living life away from humans was suddenly forced into a life of a stray dog. The stress that came with the sheer loneliness and of trying to survive only made her fits worse. She was left prone and defenseless not only because of the cushy life she had been raised in but because of her disorder. Fits would take so much out of her that she would simply lay in one spot too exhausted to do much of anything. Gaia realized quickly she sucked at living on her own. Sucked so bad that she could die. So, she picked up her sad sorry butt and found the first pack she could. She ended up on the door step of the di Trieste pack, hopeful for at least food.

-she's also an intense sass master that doesn't have the bite to backup her bark
-she's a big fat coward when it comes to fights, she'd prefer to run away
