Description *Note: Yes, this is a mixed media piece. The base is done with terra cotta watercolor pencil and wash while the color is done in Photoshop. Yes, that technically puts it under the heading of digital art, but since it looks tradional, devArt admin said to put it in traditional.*

Another color technique experimentation. The first manga I ever got into back in 1997 and still one of my favs. Ironically, I don't do a lot of Inu fanart (I think the Nouveau is the only one up in my gallery) because there's already so much out there and if I do something, I want it to be unique. Not that this one is all that unique, but I let it slide because I just wanted something to play around with the color in

Almost forgot to mention, this is manga style Inu more than the anime style.

Medium: Watercolor pencil drawing and wash, color toning and paper texture in Photoshop.

The character of InuYasha is compyright Rumiko Takahashi

Oh, Inuyasha....I just want to tweak his little ears.......but doesn't everyone. Good work. I like the medium...it's one you don't see too much, and a very traditional colour scheme that you don't expect to see anime in. It works really well.

I like it! It has a very nice, windswept feel. The paper texture was also a nice touch, good thinking. ^^
