I really love the power that this art portrays. The use of blood red for the snake was a definitely good choice--it contrasts heavily with the much less vibrant background and makes the snake "pop out" at the viewer. The overall lighting is also fantastic. The shadows on the snake give an ominous mood, and the clear emphasis on the man's expression makes this painting more emotionally powerful. However, I feel like the composition is slightly off--there's a bit too much emphasis on the right side of the painting. I think if you darkened the part of the snake on the very right, it might seem more balanced (but I'm just nitpicking here). I love the way you portrayed the man--the warped fingers, the muscles, the veins popping out. It adds to the power of this artwork and makes the scene much more vivid. For originality, I gave you a four because I have to say that this reminds me of some other paintings I have seen before that are somewhat similar to this one. However, I definitely think that this is an absolutely fantastic piece of art. Great job! (:

thats an awesome work in general and a great concept^^ the colors are very well chosen and totally harmonic. The posture and facial expression are very well done and the dark background matches the gloomy atmosphere. Really creepy. And emotive^^
