Description
Candy buttons! The most delicious way to eat paper! This one was really fast to make, which was nice since I'm avoiding two other scarves because of how much sewing I have to do on them. One thing that I'm sad about is that I, for the life of me, cannot find bright yellow yarn that's not Red Heart Super Saver. Caron Simply Soft apparently has one (I've seen one called Lemon, and have seen people use one called Lemonade in projects), but none of the craft stores near me carry them (even the really big Joanns that I go to when I'm desperate). So I had to use Red Heart Super Saver for the yellow. You can't really tell from a distance (and my fiance says he can't tell even up close), but the yellow dots look bigger and...different to me.
Yarns used were Red Heart Soft (which is really nice, actually) in White, Caron Simply Soft in Watermelon and Blue Mint, and Red Heart Super Saver in Yellow. The pattern can be found in Twinkie Chan's book!

Oh man, the epitome of childhood nastiness. But...so...good? I don't know how. It's just proof that you can sell anything. What book was this from? it looks too fun!
On buying yarn in-store, I can never find the neon yellow or orange Caron Simply Soft in the stores. Ever. I don't know why it seems to be the case. I have not yet ordered yarn online, but I plan to in the near future. Possibly from Carons website. They also have the full colorway list here: [link] Very helpful when needing to chose the right color, although nothing beats seeing in in real life.

Ha! I love it! We all loved Candy Buttons, but none of us knew why! So delicious and so gross at the same time.

Thanks! I can't even remember if they had different flavors, or if they just tasted like sugar and wet paper. Not that that was a bad thing. :3

You can order it from JoAnn's online. Tho I think I might recommend Sunshine over Lemon for this particular scarf. [link]

Oh, cool! It never even occurred to me that I could actually order stuff online from Joanns. x_x I always just go to the store. Thanks for the link, I really appreciate it.

No problem! I just started looking online for craft stuff. It is nice to not have to look all over the place for a color that the local stores quit carrying!

This is absolutely adorable! I can /kind/ of see what you're saying about the yellow dots..though they don't look different, I only see a slight size difference...(soooo slightly)and I would of never seen it had I not read the description. Honestly, I think you did a wonderful job!

Thank you so much! I can be weirdly perfection-istic when it comes to my crafts. o_o I really need to just let some things go.

I'm the same, I feel like since I'm staring at it for so long I can see every..single..flaw.. So I feel your pain on that.
