Gocom In reply to ??? [2011-07-10 18:18:36 +0000 UTC]

Unfortunately I will have to say no. I'm not the owner of the resources, and thus I can't redistribute the works. Sorry.

Not to mention I don't have the modification in that state no longer, nor it was the only modification added. And I haven't even booted Windows this year.

No worries.

If you want the caption buttons, in a working format, you could try to take them from a WindowBlinds port.

For example you could copy and paste caption buttons from DA-Star-G's Mobilem port to Nardo's Nuala.

Three things :]

A) It looks great. I love how you combined the elements and really made it your own.
B) What is MicroTaco
C) Where did you get the Shelves Application.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gocom In reply to wnighthawk [2010-10-08 23:44:11 +0000 UTC]

A) Thanks
B and C) Both are tiny Titanium applications of mine. MicroTaco plays YouTube videos from interwebs and Shelves does a file loop. MicroTaco's small HTML and JavaScript source can be found from here .

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gocom In reply to Neteru [2010-09-22 16:54:17 +0000 UTC]

Thank you, Neteru

Well, not really, not the skin atleast. But, you can download the source code form here: [link] You need Titanium, PHP package and jQuery javascript framework to run it. On Windows that means around 45-50 MB download at minimum to make the ~0.5 MB of source code to work.

I don't know how the app looks without the skins. Atleast needs a rewrite of the CSS styles and the effects don't work w/o CSS.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Neteru In reply to Gocom [2010-09-22 17:37:25 +0000 UTC]

Thank you for the code! I will play around with CSS.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gocom In reply to Neteru [2010-09-22 18:19:01 +0000 UTC]

No problem

If you have problems making the code run, just ask. It should be pretty easy.

If you download Titanium API and Titanium developer it should be self-explanatory. Basically just create a new project and paste the source code to the project's Resources directory. I don't know if you familiar with Titanium already, but... yeah. If you are not, you at least have to create an account for Appcelerators developer/cloud service to use the cloud services / dev tools.

Could you tell me how do you change the font of Objectbar skins and the orbs?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gocom In reply to Fernakovich [2010-09-21 22:30:38 +0000 UTC]

By editing the skin files (.obskin) and bars. What you need to change and where, depends entirely on the Bar (theme) and how it's structured.

Gocom In reply to Fernakovich [2010-09-21 22:49:57 +0000 UTC]

The setting in the preferences doesn't work well under W7. Don't use setting in OB's preferences panel, instead (for example) place link to the excutable to your Startup items. You can do that for example by placing shortcut linking to the executable (C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Object Desktop\ObjectBar\ObjectBar.exe) to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup etc.

It just invokes the preferences panel.

How did you made Objectbar and windowblinds theme to work on W7 x64 ? i've tried b4 and never made it work properly

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gocom In reply to Fernakovich [2010-09-21 20:17:45 +0000 UTC]

I did nothing. They just work. If I remember correctly during 2009 while testing trials, the trial installers didn't work me. But the full versions purchased from Impulse did work perfectly, at least for me. WB7 even officially supports W7 and is especially build for it.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Fernakovich In reply to Gocom [2010-09-21 20:35:34 +0000 UTC]

yeah i know about WB, and i downloaded the same theme as you with full version of WB 7, but it loads windows classic theme instead :/, i will try re-installing and see what happens.

also i made Objectbar work properly the only thing i would like to know is how to edit the tray shortcuts (such as changing icons and making it work right instead of having fake icons)

could you help me with that? please

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gocom In reply to Fernakovich [2010-09-21 20:39:49 +0000 UTC]

I don't use notification icons. All the icons do select set of custom functions. Notication items are listed in a menu.

As far as I know, you can't change the notification icons with ObjectBar. Instead, you need to change the actual icon that the process uses when it creates the notification icon.
