I don't have anything against editing, but the fact you not only left out a link to the original work, you actually removed the signature and the URL of the original author. And when I look at the original version and this one, it appears that you only added the aliased texts on the sides. Therefore it seems that you must have used more time to hide all the traces to the author rather than on the actual modifications.
I think you should be more respectful towards the original author.
