So I'm pretty frustrated at how both times I scanned this drawing, it doesn't turn out right. The first time quite a lot of this piece was cut off due to how large the paper is compared to the size of the scanner screen. And for some strange reason, the quality of it wasn't the greatest, it was actually a little bit on the grainy side and wouldn't zoom in to view it in high quality. That one was done at my soul sister's place.

Today, I went to Staples and the scanner that I used fucking miscolored it horribly. Like, it was just about black and white, there was very little color to it even though we scanned it with color. I had to have help with the process, that's why I said "we". And because you can't sink the scanner up to a laptop or anything and view the paper first, I had no idea what the scanner was doing with the quality and color. And it's rather frustrating that back when covid was first a really big deal, that Staples had REALLY good scanner's and the color and quality of what they scanned was stunning. I had to go there a couple of times during then and they turned out beautifully other than having to crop and rotate them. So for this occasion to have one of their scanners fuck up so badly, really pisses me off.

Needles to say, I only found out after I had already left the store and gone to the library to transfer the file onto my phone. And because my phone is an asshole when it comes to it's battery, it died on me while I was trying to take a good enough picture. I ended up having to have one of the librarian's help me with taking the photo's using their phone.

I'm really hoping that I'll be able to scan this piece again and have it turn out correctly. And if that doesn't happen, I might end up trying to take another good enough photo of it. But until then, I'm stuck with this one.

Away from that mess and into the next, my depression has been really rough on me and this is my fourth artistry of the year. Yeah, I've only drawn four artistries this entire year, it sucks. My motivation and energy has just been so non-existent. I actually started the sketch work for this piece back in September, but took many long breaks away from it due to said lack of motivation and energy. In this piece, I used led pencil, colored pencil, marker, gel pen and nail polish.
