Transformers movie - Megatron with children.2011. 10. 03 I complete painted it.
I drew this art "imagining" epilogue of Official Novel. This Art is my original, not the scene of official Novel.
Here's my imagination:
Optimus believed that Megatron could be changed. There was only silence between them after the last battle in Chicago, but Megatron already knew about Optimusβs belief.
He went back to the Decepticon base in Africa, and there was nothing but human children. Megatron had thought earthlings are Germs, but he didn't care because he was so tired and exhausted. Megatron flopped down into place where children were playing.
Surprisingly , children weren't scared of Megatron. They approached Megatron closely without fear, and decorated his hand with flowers. Due these children's purity, Megatron started to realize "something" that Optimus really wanted so far. Megatron didn't hurt children, he just gazed at their innocent faces.
He stayed motionless and stared at the sunset until children went home in the fullness of time.
It was the last trace he left in earth before he leave to Cybertron.....

I've seen this painting a long time ago, too. But I haven't read the profile above. That was touching TvT !!! I love this ending more than that in DOTM. Although it's impossible for Hasbro and Paramount, we can still imagine that in our own ways. I love it very much!!!

Pity the ending to TF-Dark of the Moon wasn't this colorful, packed with actual character, and full of hope on a number of levels, let alone the fact that Megatron actually lived like he should've. You did that novel proud, terrific work!

Optimus goes to Africa seeing Megatron's hand full of flowers. Then the kids go up to Optimus and start decorating his hand with flowers too. He looks down to see lots of flower chains on his hand. Megatron looks up to Optimus and nods his head. Optimus looks back to Megatron and nods his head, realising not to kill Megatron as he was changing. Then a hum comes behind Optimus, Optimus looks behind himself to see Bumblebee, who arrived. And he was getting decorated with flowers too.

This would have been better than the awful DOTM ending. The scene with Sam and Jerry in the bathroom was longer than Megatron's death scene (and he doesn't even try to fight back).
