This is my fan-created Ultraman character, Ultraman Cronos. I had actually thought of the name and character many years ago, and used it as my YouTube name, but never settled on a design for the character itself. That is, until last night. I decided to sketch him out a few times and play around with his design and head shape before settling on what you see now. I used pictures of two real Ultra's, Ultraman Cosmos and Ultraman Justice, for reference. The chest design was inspired by the original Ultraman, and the shape of his "color timer" was inspired by Ultraman Great. Eventually, this was the result. Originally I pictured him as being white, black and orange, with swirly shapes on his body to more tie him into the whole "Corona" deal, but as you can see, I opted for something more traditional; the classic red and silver. Obviously, it'd be best to sketch out the rest of his body, but for now, this should suffice.
