Description

Hey look, the FNaF World Bosses series isn't dead! Neat!

As a minor way of celebrating update 2, I decided to speed up the return of this series. What better way to kickstart such a comeback than with one of the most iconic inside jokes in the game series - the infamous desk fan, that has managed to stalk us throughout all four Five Nights at Freddy's games. I know this joke's been done before, but I honestly felt like doing the same sort of idea whilst actually taking it seriously.

I thought the Fan would be a fantastic choice of boss for FNaF World, personally. Haha. It would fit the premise of the game, with glitches corrupting everything.

Awfully hard to draw, though! T'was a nightmare to get those little rings around the fan's 'eye' looking right, just as it was arduous drawing out that leg four times. Lol. Had fun, though!

It had always remained. Even when its surroundings were altered, even when it was moved from place-to-place, it had remained.

Listlessly, its blades would spin. Nobody ever bothered to turn it off, as nobody ever bothered with it in general. It had been switched on one day and then just...remained that way.

The Fan had been content - for a time. It was doing its job, and made the citizens of Animatronica just a little bit happier on those sweltering summer days. As its metal mechanisms glowed in the sunlight, so too did the faces of those it hit with its cooling gaze. Animatronics generally liked the Fan - if only for its utilities. The Fan generally liked animatronics - they were interesting to watch and study.

The way they could lumber about without the need for wheels, their use of soul energy rather than batteries as a power source, and even their speech capabilities all intrigued the humble cooling device. It enjoyed their company.

However, that was all set to change.

When the Glitches had first struck, and all sane animatronics had locked themselves up in their homes, nobody had stopped and took a moment to consider what the Fan would do.

Locked out of every safe haven in Animatronica, all it could do was roll around on its small set of wheels, helplessly attempting to hide from the glitched threats plaguing the landscape.

Of course, it hadn't lasted long. Having been cornered by a group of four glitched animatronics, the Fan had to turn to its last resort - attacking.

The sheer force of the blast that hit the group of volatile robots was enough to split mountains.

Shocked at its power, the Fan tested its capabilities once again - on another group of four glitched enemies.

One blast. Four piles of ash on the grassy field before it.

Suffice to say, the Fan was promptly avoided by the glitched denizens of Animatronica thereafter. All but one.

The Storyteller had exhibited interest in the Fan's power. It was a more capable fighter than any of the other henchmen he had managed to accumulate! And so he set about forcefully integrating the small device into his roster.

As he had with many entities before it, he altered the Fan's coding. At this point, he savoured the nigh-instantaneous transformation that followed his saving of the new volatile stream of binary digits. The Fan's feelings of hopelessness and abandonment, as well as a newfound hatred for the animatronics of Animatronica - who had revealed how little they truly cared for it by leaving it to be destroyed - all made it highly susceptible to its alterations.

Becoming an immense monstrous beast within moments, the Fan's mind was wiped clean. It could only think of one thing: its disdain for the land's uncaring animatronics. It felt an abrupt urge to destroy, using its horrific power to level villages and crush civilians.

They had abandoned it.

Now God would abandon them.

I took some inspiration from the design, having seen the image like a month before making mine, but I'd think the two still have a lot of differences on account of me not having any sort of reference images and only having a vague idea of what that design had looked like.
Besides, what exactly am I expected to do in terms of turning a desk fan into a monster? Not many designs won't look goofy as hell, lol. :>

I liked the backstory, too bad you didn't include it's ability to(somehow) shoot beams from it's body.

With all time wasted, I made a Fan with legs and 4 arms. Am I smart? Maybe.
