so, naruto has always been a part of my life. grew up with it. i rmemeber me and my friends would always get a volume of JUMP every week and read naruto together HAHAHA and when i heard it was going to be an anime i shit my pants and watched it, and shit my pants again. been shitting since then. i read it and shit too.
I just.....had to draw them. sasuke and naruto. their relationship, ohgod, they've come so far...
they went 2 different paths but still so close. its unavoidable since they're rivals...and eachother's closest friend.
sasuke went with revenge, and along the way he got tainted with more hatred and blood.
he kills itachi, only to find out it was all a lie.
Naruto has always been Naruto. most fucking inspiring piece of atoms ever.
both of these guys were alone. one realized he's not anymore, one is blind of realizing it. i think it was never enough though, being needed nor revenge. what did they really wish for? i cant answer that without being more deep HAHAHAAHHAHA

This reminds me so much of myself lately. Finally seeing things for what they really are and trying to leave the religious life, my little Naruto is trying so hard to bring me back. She's my best friend but I highly doubt that I'll ever truly return to "Konoha"

DUUUDE YES THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS LIKE ONE OF THE THINGS THAT MAKES NARUTO SUCH AN AMAZING STORY. it might be a bit cliched at times, but to have that relationship so drawn out, and especially when you bring in their mentors (ie. jiraiya, kakashi) and it makes it even deeper. but yea this picture is so true. althoguh to be honest i dont feel that naruto has really grown that close to the other villagers (ie. choji, ino, shikamaru, shino).
what i feel is more inspirational is that the village as a whole now respects him, both for who he is and for his power. and now with nine tails mode and all it really shows how much hes grown.
but yea the whole effect that jiraiya had and just how great of a person he was really made the show that much more emotional and meaningful, however cliched his character type was.
sasuke is sorta like an unfortunate character. hes been lied to his eentire life, and even when he knows the truth, and he sets out to do what he feels is justice, you know he will never feel that peace even after he does.
And yea even though they dont see each other, their relationship has just become one of distance to sasuke, yet it has become a relationship of understanding for naruto, as he learns more and more about what sasuke is going through and is still willing to relate with him.
Yea kishimoto took a cliched base for a storyline and made it awesome
