Unsurprisingly, since most of the shoppers here were former humans, the inside of the grocery store was just that, an ordinary grocery store. That meant I had no trouble finding stuff I like to eat. And thankfully, thanks to my red eyes and fiery hair, most of demons here believed I was one of them. More than a few guys hit on me, though, but that's the downside of being a cutie like myself.

I wander a bit closer to the entrance, making sure that Charlie and Vaggie are still close. Nothing might’ve happened so far, and I might have fire powers to protect myself, but I’m still not taking any chances. After a moment of just standing around and waiting for the two to finish up with buying the groceries, someone bumps into me.

“Oof!”

I look over to find a girl the ground, a hell phone in her hand. Apparently, she wasn’t looking where she was going and bumped into me. “Oh, I’m sorry,” I say. “Here, let me help you up.”

I offer her my hand, and then I realize that I literally forgot everything Charlie and Vaggie told me earlier. Oops.

Oh well, she doesn't look like she could do anything. Plus, she needed help. The girl takes my hand and helps herself onto her feet, allowing me to get a better look at her. She had dark skin, and red and dark red hair tied into pigtails.

"No, it's my fault. I wasn't looking where I was going," she says as she smooths out her dress before giving me a smile. She was pretty cute, though there was something about her that reminded me of Alastor. Seems genuinely nice, though, not like Alastor's scary "serial killer" look.

"So, I'm Velvet. What's your name, cutie?"

"Oh," I feel my face getting a bit warm from what she said. "It's Bridget."

"Well, nice to meet you, Bridget." Velvet's smile widens as she leans in closer. Wait, can she see that I'm a human? Without warning, she pulls me in close and holds her phone out. “New friend selfie! Smile~!”

I giggle at how adorable and friendly she is, and wrap my arm around her as I give a bright smile for the photo.

“So, what’s your hell phone number? Your Voxtagram or Voxter accounts? I wanna share these with you.”

"Oh, I don't have Voxtagram or Voxter yet, I'm still new here," I tell her. "But I'll give you my number if you'd like."

She nods, bouncing excitedly as I give her my number before giving me hers.

"Hey Bridget," Charlie calls out. "Can you help us with these groceries?"

"Oh, sure," I say before I turn back to Velvet. "I guess I gotta go, it was nice meeting you."

Velvet waves cheerfully as I walk away. “Bye new friend! See you real soon!”

I wave back, only for Vaggie to grab my arm to stop me. “You do not want to be seeing her again. We're also going to need to have a talk in the limo, 'Bridget'.”

I sit there nervously, as Vaggie was glaring angrily at me while Charlie just looked concerned.

"First off, I want you to take that off so I can talk to the real you," Vaggie says.

I nod before reaching up to my face. I grunt a bit in discomfort, but after a moment, I was able to get the mask off. It always take a bit of effort, but I just love doing it. However, the looks on Charlie and Vaggie's faces show that they're still rather creeped out by it. I don't exactly blame them, though.

"Good, now then, would you mind telling us what happened?! Did you seriously forget everything me and Charlie warned you about?"

A "What if?" scenario for my Hazbin Hotel fic, where the version of myself with the Bridget costume finds himself in Hell. Since Bridget's confident and outgoing, as opposed to introverted and nervous around others, she'd definitely have a much easier time befriending the demons.
Based off of the scene in chapter 4 where I meet Velvet, though with noticeable differences

I'll be making a commission in the future featuring Gina and Loona. Not sure about Verosika and Helsa, since I only have two alter egos
