The memories of days gone by sometimes are the hardest to live with. The memories of who you shared them with will never be forgotten.

Beside it, looking trough the gallery I have to admit the concept is very intriguing, it gave my many ideas for my own world.
But I have to warn: I never played a "serious" game of D&D.Β Β

It's run less like DnD because it's a homebrew system and used on roll20 following more of the Xcom style of gameplay. Though it was made to be hardcore so there wasn't much keeping your characters alive other than your trust in the medics of the group. It's a fantasy world that was in its WW1 era. Orcs weren't the savage hordes roaming around looking to butcher women and children but had adapted to the modern world, likewise for most races.
we lost about 60 ish player characters by the end of the game.
