Kay, well. OFW, the RPG set in ww1 has started, and as you can see.. I'm not drawing much anymore. Most of my time has been devoted to the game and running it. Rest assured there's still drawings in the work though.Anyway: Story Time. Anslod Offensive. Just what the fuck is going on here?
I'll tell you. When the RP started I had deceived every player into believing that we were going to be stationed at a camp behind enemy lines in a village called Anslod. In Captured Nordic Territory. I had told them that the objective was to hike up to the frontlines and reinforce it. So in character of course, and ooc all characters and players were getting ready for trench warfare. I had been making subtle hints about the frontline collapsing, or beginning to collapse on the first day of the RP. Nobody got the hints. So when the mission came around, everyone was surprised as hell when instead of marching out to go to the frontlines, the frontlines came to us... in the form of a massive enemy artilly and aerial bombing campaign, followed by a bum-rush charge of thousands of screaming Nordic soldiers.

was great. 10/10 would deceive players again.

Go, I despise to tell people what they should do, BUT... your strengths might be in humor, I dare say.
I like doing silly things. But its mostly confined to the games and groups that I do it in. Doodles, sketches, and all that.

Bwahaha! I apologize for how long it took for me to get around to viewing your stuff, having the net off there sure made stuff pile up in drifts in my inbox whew! I whole heartedly approve of the WW1 take on this fantasy setting, I'll admit it's something I've toyed around with off and on over the years, but like most things of mine it moves at the speed of a lethargic glacier. In fact I think Reck and I only ever put our heads together on it long enough to get one pic doodled:Β
Anyway! I'm stoked to see Eucadia on the war footing, I love the attention to detail you've put into all of these, the uniforms are a feast for the friggin eyes!

While extremely fun and creative and were I not enslaved to the friggin system I'd agree in a heartbeat, but the sad awful fact of the matter is I'm just not home long enough ever to get involved with anything haha! Only sixty or so years left until I can maybe retire though! bwaha!

It's not so much that you deceived the players it's that they failed to pick up on the hints which would have help but in turn hindered there job for not listening. Much like when informed about having to deliver a bomb and the players forgetting about said bomb.
Otherwise 10/10. Best start to a game. Would like to hear more.

It was great. I synched up music and sound effects and everything. As soon as the players heard the Ura charge SFX play they were like 'fuuuuuuck'
