It's despicable to go around to all the pictures showing support and see people badmouthing them all you know. Do people have no tact when it comes to such things? They come to an art site apparently expecting not to see people expressing their feelings through an art form.

A lot of it is because many japanese artists and people have come out to say that they do not want to see any art regarding the current situation in Japan, whether it be optimistic or pessimistic.

If I could read the language better I would surf pixiv and pick out some entries, but I can't. (: I don't agree with the negative attitudes either, I just wanted to point out that some of it is stemming from support behind these type of posts from the Japanese people. So there is reason behind some peoples reactions, whether or not I agree with it. I believe that if something doesn't obviously intend to hurt then negative comments should not be said.

Lots and lots of unnecessary hate. I actually had someone tell me that I drew my picture out of pride, as though I had done it for the sole purpose of being able to say "Hey, look, I'm helping".
I regret to say I was rather angry about that. I'm of the opinion that it is the first duty of human beings to be considerate of other humans where possible, and all this hate is really rubbing me the wrong way, especially when it's hate directed towards compassion. Have you seen that picture ont he front page from that Russian person. Probe, or Phobe, or whoever they are?
