I think while Steven, Greg, and the others were away, Connie would've made up some sort of fake sleepover plan to have her be at the ready near Beach City just in case anything egregiously awful were to happen. I also like to think Steven would've given Peridot, Connie's number on speed dial at some point. I agonized over the background color, what color the sky's supposed to be and the sand, because it all looked so drab and dull at one point and Lapis kept fading. And half way through the coloring I realized I forgot to put Lion in! Which is unacceptable! I'm much happier with this piece now; I want to do more drawings with these three + Lion in the future.Related content
