It could happen!! This idea wouldn't leave my head the other day and I had to draw it. They're penpals! Who exchange knowledge of each others respective fields of interest and study(Is Sandy a...biologist of some sort?)! Sandy's also a friend who ocassionally shows up to kick butt. Because she got that monster strength and those "KARA-TAY!" skills! She's telling Patrick off for fiddling with something or other of her experiments...and OOF!! A big big one! I worked so hard on those fingers of his! This drawing has officially THE MOST LAYERS of any digital painting I've made! And most of those layers were sketches. I couldn't figure out Donnie's fingers for a while and I had to redraw Sandy's line art after rotating and repositioning her.

I used a different color than one I generally use for line art and it took a moment to get used to it. I was uncomfortable with it when I started coloring in Donnie because I thought that it might be too light in some places. but maybe that's where starting to use different color line art in tandem with the paint color will become more of a thing for me. Ahhh, learning art one ninja turtle at a time!
