Story: Originally born in japan, Espio spent most of the years, in his young age, training in a martial arts dojo, with his master Sanshiro and his best friend Ryo. When his training was completed, his master offered him to be his successor and take the dojo, but Espio wanted to use his skills for help people, so he decided to be part of the police. Unfortunatley Espio's methods were not appreciated, his boss thought that Espio's skills were too risky and dangerous to be used and totally not compatible with their protocols. Espio later decided to leave the country and try to search for fortune in the United federations, there he changed his name into Espio and joined into the police. Surprisingly his skills were very appreciated, in fact Espio quickly found his way to succsess, at the point of being nominated "captain" of the special police force, a special squad that takes care of the most dangerous criminals organizations in the city. Before his promotion, he took care of the Sonic's parents case, but no result was found, despite that he became good friends with Angelica and he had a sort of father's role in Sonic's young years. He's best friend with Vector, a big crocodile that Espio helped during a very difficult time of his life, makin him become a private detective, and most of the times, working together to find and stop the criminal gangs.

Curiosity: Espio is afraid of ghost stories, his mother always used to tell him those when he was younger, but it seems like that ferar never left the agent.

Story: Vector was born in a middle family, he used to live with his mother and two younger brothers. Due to some issues with his father, suddenly his family started to lose money, and Vector never had the chance to go to the college. The crocodile really wanted to help his mother and his younger brothers, but he wasn't able to find a real job, until a friend of his, suggested him to become a street fighter, thanks to his massive body, he seemd perfect for that kind of buisness. Things were goin smooth and easy, untill Espio's team, during one big fight event, arrested the leader of the organization behind the tournaments and all the fighters inside the arena. Vector was questioned, just like all the others, by Espio. To the chameleon, Vector looked like a good guy wich only needed some help and a chance to shine, so Espio offered him the chance to complete the college and find a job as a private detective for help him to find a put an end to all the criminal gangs in the city, since Vecotr knew a lot of the leaders of the gangs during his years as a street fighter. Vector also ended up to become friends with one of the most famous noble ladies of the city, Vanilla Timberborne Rabbit and the big crocodile ended up to have a huge crush on her.

Curiosity: Vector also work as a DJ when he's not working on some case, his dream would be to become a very famous DJ in the future, for now he only plays his music in a small dance club.
