Description

Just two more days and then I'm on holidays for 6 weeks, meaning I can start digging into Godzilla Nature of Death entries. Hope you guys don't mind my rather odd take on Mecha G. I was browsing kaiju redesigns for inspiration and stumbled across a few long necked Godzilla redesigns, but realised that I couldn't really do that with any of the Gojis that will be in this series, so I decided to just do it for Mechagodzilla.

Overall: Kiryu was created by the Human Resistance by replicating parts of EVA-01's structure and design. While in its testing phase, Kiryu began to show erratic behaviour, meaning that operations had to be halted and picked up again at a later date. This shut down meant that Kiryu wasn't functional during the first wave, only being released into the field for the first time between the first and second waves.

Abilities: Despite being man made, Kiryu is incredibly powerful and can match even alpha level kaiju on the battlefield. Kiryu possesses a wide range of powerful weapons including rockets, turrets, lasers, retractable blades, atomic breath, flame and ice breath and even pulses of electricity.
