Just an obvious reference to the scene in Son of Godzilla where Godzilla teaches his son how to fire an atomic ray.Also, Kamacuras is a nosey neighbor while Rodan is off doing his own thing.

Yeah, Son of Godzilla was definitely low standard when comparing it to other films in the Godzilla franchise. But I still have a soft spot for it.

I like this picture. I hope that if Godzilla's son ever returns in Legendary's films, he'll look more like his father instead of the crack-addict form the 60's

Son of Godzilla is a weird entry on the franchise.
It doesn't show much of Godzilla being a bad-ass, but just shows Godzilla being a great father towards a young creature that he barely knows. It's an interesting twist knowing how the series was going at the time (where movies eventually became worse and worse until the two last Showa movies) showing a bit of humanity on a monster that was ment to represent destruction.
I really like this piece of SFM. I hope they don't bring Minilla/Minya into the Legendary or new Jap. series. He was kinda annoying.

Indeed it was a weird entry in the franchise.
I honestly wouldn't mind them bringing Minilla back, just as long as they make him more akin to his equivalent from the Heisei era.
