TITANUS KAPROS: NEW SPECIES.

The hollow earth is certainly a wonderful place but at the same time full of dangers, which hosts many areas and living beings yet to be discovered.
During our expeditions, we have analyzed new animal species that are considerably larger in size than their surface world counterparts.
Among these species is the Titanus Kapros, a gigantic suid titan discovered only recently but which, also this, gave birth to various legends and myths in the human world: among these we remember the Erymanthian boar, defeated by Hercules during his twelve labors, the mythical boar of the god Freyr Gullinbursti and Hildisvini, the boar instead of the goddess Freyja.
The animal was found in a newly discovered green and lush plain of the hollow earth.
It should look a lot like a wild boar, but rather it appears to have features mostly belonging to prehistoric rather than current creatures.
The hunchbacked body and the snout are in fact very similar to those of a member of the entelodontids, a family of suiforms closely related to the suids.
The tusks, on the other hand, can easily be traced back to those of a modern boar or warthog.
An even more curious feature is the pair of enormous flat and protruding shovel-shaped teeth on the tip of the jaw, practically the same as those of a platybelodon, an extinct animal closely related to today's elephants.
These peculiar teeth help the animal to dig the earth in search of food but are also used to hurt the enemy, both of the same species and predators.
The animal also has a bony crest on the forehead characterized by sharp points, also this effective weapon.
Some of the few specimens analyzed are characterized by a particular golden lion mane, which also reflects the appearance of Gullinbursti, a wild boar characterized by a golden fur, while in the others it was brown.
The skin is thick and covered with lumps, which allow the animal to repel attacks from predators
