Description Not long after I completed the last edition, I began work on the next version of the Fallout Composite Map, although due to recent events I am (for the time being) renaming it to the Post-Nuclear Composite Map.

With this edition comes major changes, which I shall now explain from west to east:

I recompiled the western games and cleaned up their terrain cells so that the developer-intended distance between Fallout and Fallout: Sonora's maps could be maintained.

I have reworked the roads and Colorado river to make them take up less space. Following this, I added the railroad systems from Fallout: Nevada and Van Buren (which surprisingly overlap.)

I added the main locations from Wasteland 3 marked in white, spoilers beware.

I added terrain using a real-life terrain map for Texas, leaving a conspicuous gap between Fallout: Sonora and Fallout: BoS' maps that a future developer can and should fill up.

The most obvious additions are in the east: I have added the world map for The Sum, a survival RPG mod built on Fallout: Tactics by Hugo Nadeau, and I have added locations from Fallout 3, 4, and 76. The Fallout 76 world map is a little large and may need to be halved sometime down the road. I also added locations referencing Fallout: New California, Alton IL, and Washington's Malevolence as they are the largest and most visible Fallout 3 and New Vegas worldspace mods.

Given recent events with Microsoft buying ZeniMax and the uncertainty of Fallout and Wasteland's futures, I am not sure when this map will next be updated. Mutants Rising, Fallout: Yesterday, and TTW's planned addon(s) all have content that could help build the map, but they do not have ETAs. The Frontier may also help build in a northerly direction. I almost added the Last Hope mod to this map but could not square its worldspace and lore, and I also have yet to finish it. All I ask for any aspiring modder or game developer that someone please fill that ugly gap between Sonora and Texas where I have placed the game titles.

Please feel free to use this map and its accompanying basemap to create Fallout and Wasteland content as you please. I would prefer credit, but it is not necessary. In the meantime, I must now give my credits.
