This was made for a book I'm making as a "thank you" present for all the guides who have made this last rafting season so memorable.

This is based on yet another real-life experience. There is a trick you can do to flick a rope waaaay up into the air so that it flies across a stack of boats in a graceful arc (as shown in the first two panels). However, this takes a great deal of finesse and practice, and about the first hundred times you try it the rope just sort of wriggles through the air and slumps by the side of the van (as shown in the third and four panels). Then the guides laugh and call you a "candy-ass". Ah, the life of a trainee!
