In a strange twist of fate, Inuyasha and Shakuro come face to face… or back to back…Inuyasha: Keh. My sword is bigger!
Shakuro: So? I'm a girl, I don't care. Besides, I could kick your ass without any stupid swords.
Inuyasha: You wanna try that, punk? I'll beat you any day of the week!
Shakuro: You're a funny guy… if I pulled hard enough, would your ears come off?
Inuyasha: Hah! Like I'd come to pieces over a measly little demon like you!
Shakuro: Who're you calling a demon, punk?!
Two minds, one heart. I rest my case.
Pure self-indulgence on my part in watercolors and Copic markers. Inuyasha, from Inu-Yasha by Takahashi Rumiko, and Shakuro, from ~AngeldevilManga , by me. I got this idea because Shakuro's Origins Arc outfit (seen here: [link] ) makes her an almost inverted Inuyasha. And even though IY was a big inspiration to me in making Angeldevil, I'm pretty sure this was a coincidence. Pretty sure.
Anyway, I think once they got past their initial misgivings they'd make an awesome team.

This is awesome xD Oddly enough, when I read your manga, I couldn't help but think Shakuro is so much like Inuyasha, only female, and doesn't fall in love with an annoying main character >_>;

Some how . . . you managed to make Inuyasha look . . .quite bad ass. and you use all traditional means for colors? hell, it looks better than most things i see coming from people with photoshop.

Proof that markers and watercolour can still make good art. I like your version of the Meidou Tessaiga, though I'm still trying to figure out Shakuro's weapon. Is it a psy blade? Ki sword? Something otherwise generated by the mind or force of will? Or is it something based on a physical object (maybe a handle that activates when a hidden button is pressed)?

Shakuro's weapon is fully explain in the comic: ~AngeldevilManga , but in brief: it is an extension of her own spirit, boosted by the bone of a dead demon. It only attacks spiritual energy, and can cut through most physical barriers.

But that's just what I think. Shakuro would most likely hog everything for herself, and keep Inuyasha at bay with a foot on his forehead.

That's the final form of Tetsusaiga: Meidou Tetsusaiga, the pretty galaxy sword! And yes, I believe he gets it towards the end of the manga, but never in the Anime. Anyway, I had the Meidou Tetsu here because it contrasted nicely with Shakuro's bright glowy spirit sword.
