Description
Before he became an esk, Upponen was a working Seskar Seal Dog back in the 1920's. In the winter he and his master would hunt seals, and in the summer Upponen would accompany him when he went fishing. During summertime people from mainland would also visit the island Upponen and the other dogs lived with their families, and the dogs would escort them to the rocks where you could sunbathe and swim. It was a good life, and Upponen was very happy.
