Description
EDIT: I just want to explain why i chose to use yellow and green. Green, because for the background i had in mind, the main color was green, and yellow, because it was the highlight. that is why, if you do a very dark cave thing, use purple, blue, brown, or anything like such. Always think, highlight, background color, and warmth (warmth being the reddish color)
I made a tutorial, showing my way of making a character fit into the background.
This is an example of making the character fit into a bright summer background, however, you can also instead of using yellow and green, use blue and purple ( if doing a night time drawing, for an example). The reddish color is one that i'd normally use no matter what - it lightens up the drawing, and adds some warmth.
I hope this is helpful, and I'm sorry if i got some words wrong. As most of you know, my first language isn't english u v u
Have a great day! I'm off to the beach now B^)

in step 5, does over-lay/ hard light means that you just simply put all layers together? i dont have nether of those since i use FireAlpaca so im not sure what they mean

You do have them. I have fire alpaca as well ( though i do not use it much ) and you definitely have overlay.
No, the layers arent supposed to be merged together. you choose the layer option, to change it to overlay
prntscr.com/bcmztz (it's called the blending on fire alpaca apparently )
