Wow! That lion mane fur looks realistic and textured. The canines fur is really good and all the details of the food and background is amazing. You're a very talented artist

I'm seeing some radishes, celery, green beans, carrots, and bell peppers, and looking at what the hyena has on hand, I'm guessing the meal is carrot soup with a salad composed of sautΓ©ed vegetables with the lettuce being added right before service. And I'm guessing those potatoes and flour are going to the pantry for a future application. And seeing how the dragon is adding some EVOO, there's probably going to be some sort of flambΓ© action.

Most welcome! It brings a ray of hope seeing - have been considering setting up shop myself, but my slow pace has been a source of doubts. But perhaps 40-50 hours or so on a full rendering isn't out of the question after all.

For sure!Β My motto is it takes the time that it takes.Β But the good news is that you do indeed get faster the more you grow as an artist.Β But speed isn't the most important thing to achieve.Β What is is the end result of the art and the learning that took place while creating it.

Wise words. Miyamoto Musashi, one of my greatest inspirations philosophically, used to say much the same. To paraphrase him, take your time; there is more of it with improvement.
But then again, being a painter second and first a samurai who lived to be sixty years old and still holds a worldwide record in duels survived, he had the benefit that when somebody complained about him making his own schedule he could just bisect them and call it a day... It feels good hearing somebody with a less volatile business model endorse the same philosophy of managing time.
