I think I'm going through some sort of artistic identity crisis or something, I don't know what direction I want to go in . I'm not sure if this is anything to be proud of...
Nothing dirty is shown, so thats something...

Its actually not bad, not as bad as I expected, I didn't like the early entries much (trying to make Ruby drink... really?), but recently whoever doing has improved greatly and like I said its actually really quite good.
Anyway this was mostly just an excersise to see if I could, and the last pic was a bit depressing, so I wanted to draw her happy (does this count as happy? ). New shading style, trying to compromise between my last one and those before. Oh and LOOK AT HER EYES, the one thing I am most proud of here are the eyes, I probably put most of my effort into them lol.

BTW this doesn't necessarily refect how I view her character, but I have been considering it for future depictions; I think I see her as being an incredibly emotional character (meaning she can go from joy to crippling worry, in a matter of minutes) who would do anything for her family, I think this would explain her over-protective nature. I would assume this to be a bit stressful, so AT THE END OF THE DAY she has a bit to drink to relax (maybe she does it in an attempt to even out her emotions?) What do you think, is this a realistic characterisation?

Well there's my attempt to explain how I see her, I've kinda wanted to get it off my chest, people build-up characters for Lyra and Bon Bon, so why not Berry?

I wish I knew why I like her, the fandom has given me so little reason to...

Anyway this is probably the most rambling thing I've ever done, just forgive the content.
