Description
Just for fun ^-^Have you ever had a ferret? You see my husband had one but it was really wild and dangerous. He took it from the box that was laying on the street in next town. He didn't know if the breed was wild or domestic. Does all ferrets are really wild and bite really hard? o.o I saw a lot of videos and they seemed really cute. What are your experiences with them?

My dad and stepmom have 10 ferrets, they're so fun ^^
They do bite of course and at certain times they do that so you can play with them. If they do latch on to you real good, just scruff them and they'll get the idea~

Mine was sweet and she never bit anyone. X3
It also depends on personality and upbringing. Lol
I love Ferrets and they are quite sweet, intelligent and love to play and sit on your shoulders.

Yes. I love the Albino ones. They do get quite hyper from time to time and they smell, but it's just a matter of keeping their area clean and them clean too. <3

It depends how you care for them and whether or not they are the domesticated ferret and not it's wild cousin the polecat. if raised to be loving, cuddly and a LOT of fun, they will be.

troszku x D i napił się tuszu, kradł mi gumki do mazania, chyba ze 3 razy nam coś wylał (najczęściej kubek na wodę > u > ) co jakiś czas o mało co nie zrzucał telewizora, wylał i polizał terpentynę... > u >
i to wszystko w ciągu mojej wizyty u Traktora xD'

Very well drawn, is this an new style your trying out ? It has less hard lines than some of your other works.

Thank you. I'm just trying it out. It's hard for me to draw without lines or with small amount of them. This ferret is semi-realistic I think so it wasn't that hard.

Ferrets are awesome and have so far been my favorite type of pet to own ^ ^ They love best to play fight, hide and steal things
They have a special kind of stink, but you get used to it. and bathing them once a week keeps it an a minimum. They don't live very long but the time you have them is full of lots of fun.
Super cute picture!

Super cute drawing! So... ferret!
Yes ferrets are domesticated animals. Their ancestors, polecats, are wild though. But ferrets need training from a young age, as the express themselves through biting, if not taught otherwise (it's not even because they're agressive, most of the time. They tend to bite a lot when they play). It can be tedious during the first months, but if well trained they become the cutest of pets. I own one, a little male, who is especially careful around children, and extremely easy to handle. I guess the ferret your husband found was scared, and maybe it's been mistreated before so it was wary of humans. I heard abandoned ferrets are always harder to handle because of the bad experience (I can affirm they have an excellent memory!! They also love their owner and become depressed if left alone).

I've never owned a ferret myself but I used to know a breeder. All of his ferret were incredibly friendly little critters (albeit they all had that mischievous and 'springy' demeanor that ferrets seem to have).
It's a shame your experiences with ferrets haven't been as positive.
I currently own a hedgehog.
