Description
A five character, full color, no background commission for Drockan Firestorm of his character's five forms: Homid, Glabro, Crinos, Hispo, and Lupus (based on White Wolf's Werewolf: The Apocalypse RPG). This was a lot of work but the end result is awesome! I love doing lineups like this of a character's "forms". ^.^Watercolor and Colored Pencil on 11 X 14 Bristol paper.

Amazing beyond description, his largest form seems very strong and handsome, even noble. It's almost as if he is trapped in an inferior body when in human form, but in werewolf form he is joyfully released and at peace.

The sketches were so detailed I was a little worried that Goldie wouldn't be able to transition them into black fur while preserving the quality. She's a fantastic artist, though, and I knew that if anyone could handle it, it would be her.

W:tA is one of my favourite pen and paper RPGs ever, (though I've never cared for Forsaken) I really love this rendition of the five forms, a lot of the Crinos pics I see tend to be a bit too anthro. (you can't wear clothes in Crinos!) This reminds me of the old Ron Spencer art, he was one of my favourite W:tA artists along with Steve Prescott and Brian LeBlanc. Out of curiosity, how much would a commission like this cost?

I do particularly enjoy the Crinos, especially since he isn't all Snarly...the Rage is contained, controlled, ready to be directed against the Wyrm. Adds a dimension to the character rather than simply shoving the raging rageness out in our faces.

The barely restrained rage in the "battle form" exactly what I didn't like in the small amount of reading I've done in W:TF. In W:TA source books there are a handful of images of Crinos participating in rituals, telling stories, and meditating. Sure, most of those examples might be Metis, who are born and raised in Crinos form, but if they can be civil in Crinos, why couldn't a Homid?
