Description This was very fun to draw!

She reminds me of Feathertail from "Warriors" by Erin Hunter.

I drew the negative of this with graphite pencil
on white paper and then digitally reversed the colors.

WOW THAT IS AMAZING!!! awesome work....ive seen people try to pull of the white on black contrast with cats as a subject before but usually it feels really chaotic and overly detailed. I think you really nailed it! Nice work!

U tohoto obrazu jsem namalovala negativ obyčejnou tužkou na bílý papír a potom jsem změnila barvy na počítači.

Jaky ma smysl prekreslovat jiz hotovou kresbu? Nic bych nerikala, kdybys za referenci pouzila puvodni fotografii, ale prekreslovat obrazek 1:1?

Ale vždyť překreslovat obrazy není něco neobvyklého! Většina malířů ze staré doby začala malovat tímto způsobem. Mně se tvůj obraz na tolik zalíbil, že jsem si ho chtěla zkusit nakreslit, jen tak na procvičení. Kromě toho si při překreslování obrazů můžu vyzkoušet kreslit různými styly a postupem času mohu vyvinout svůj vlastní styl. Nechtěla bych skončit falzifikací obrazů!

Ano, vzdy se prekreslovaly obrazy starych mistru, ale prekreslovani soucasneho obrazku se mi zda zvlastni Myslim, ze by ses mnohem vice naucila kreslenim podle fotografie (a uplne nejvice samozrejme podle skutecneho modelu) nez podle kresby. U prekreslovani kresby ani nemusis moc premyslet, kdyz uz mas vsechny tahy dane.

Pokud by melo jit opravdu jen o procviceni, tak prosim. Ale tim, zes to i prihlasila do nejakeho contestu mi to uz jako kresba "jen tak" neprijde

To máš pravdu... když jsem to přihlásila do contestu, tak už to neni "jen tak". Přísahám ale, že jsem to doopravdy malovala na jen na procvičení. O tom contestu jsem se dozvěděla teprve potom co jsem to namalovala, a protože se mi výsledek líbil, přihlásila jsem to.
