Description
Hiya everyone~!I recently joined #Artgermination which is a pretty cool group for pushing yourself in becoming a digital artist. Every now and then, they do a theme challenge. This time, the theme is to pick an existing character you like and make a mecha version of them.
The natural choice would have been Mecha Sonic, right? So I figured I'd try someone else. I've always wondered how the characters would look in a Mecha form so I chose Shadow because I haven't drawn him in a while
When I joined the group, the challenge was going to end in 3 days. Never have I worked on something so fast before. I was so determined to get it finished in time lol. Probably because the idea of Mecha Shadow came into my head instantly~!
Don't forget to stop by at #Artgermination ~!
Ciao!

Oh Illustrator! i see that makes sense, My photoshop doesn't produce crisp lines, I'm not sure if it's just the brushes I have :\
yeah I know about the rulers in photoshop, but you can't exactly draw against the ruler to make straight lines right?
You draw ponies and I draw sonic hah!

Depends on the ppi resolution you work with. I hear that CS6 has more pen tool options, so you can definitely find a way to make those clean linearts with just photoshop
I think there's an option in the 'view' tab. Turn on 'Snap' and then you can select which elements you can snap to such as layers, document bounds, rulers, etc. but it gets tiresome turning it on and off when you don't want it to lol
DEAL!
