Bio: Charcoal is one of the last generation of Autobot Warriors to be sparked from the AllSpark. After years of training, this curious femme has been turned into a sleek warrior, she is still curious which can be more of a hindrance than help in most cases.

Like most Autobots, but not all of them, Charcoal abandoned Cybertron after it went dark. She did remain behind helping her blind Insecticon friend, Darkshock, who could see upcoming events. This unprecedented friendship didn't last long, however as Darkshock suffered a fatal injury. At his insistence, Charcoal left him to die. Taking Shockwave's Space Bridge (damaged during an earlier encounter by Arcee and Cliffjumper) to Earth, the young femme accidentally crashed into a Russian Airbase, alerting them to her presence. Charcoal had no choice but to take on the nearest aircraft she could find, the Sukhoi SU 37 Terminator Fighter Jet before contacting Optimus Prime & Team Prime for help.

Unfortunately for her, Starscream, who was a rogue agent at the time, was the first to arrive. Seeing she was a fellow Seeker, Starscream tried to offer a team up but Charcoal stood up to him and managed to fight him off, but ultimately almost losing her spark if Team Prime did not arrive to fend Starscream off.

Charcoal often argued with Arcee and Ratchet, who saw her as a useless kid at first, giving Charcoal ambition to prove herself to be an unforgivable warrior, causing her to train to the point of near exhaustion. However, although these arguments happen, Charcoal has managed to attain close friendship with both Smokescreen and Bumblebee. Charcoal felt indifferent to Bulkhead, although he has shown her kindness and respect.

Charcoal also gets along extremely well with Miko Nakadai, with the two often engaging in competitions of recklessness one upmanship with the teenage girl. Despite the fact that Charcoal is frustrated that Optimus Prime refuses to let her out of Outpost Omega One on missions due to her jet mode being extraordinarily out of place in America & the town of Jasper, Nevada; she highly respects and obeys the red and blue Autobot Commander.

POST PRIME (RID 15 & RESCUE BOTS ACADEMY):
Charcoal fought valiantly during the War on Earth but War & violence was all she knew. A mature Charcoal ended up protesting the new High Council when they blacklisted her and so many Autobots for taking part in the War. This blacklist cost Charcoal her position in the Elite Guard, which was soon disbanded due the blacklisting of its Members. Enraged, Charcoal took to violently demonstrating on the streets with so many fellow Autobots which resulted in Charcoal's exile from Cybertron under the pretence of capturing wanted Decepticon War Criminals who had escaped persecution on peace-time Cybertron. This exile soon led her to Earth, where she reunited with Bumblebee & helped his team capture Decepticon criminals.

While on Earth, Charcoal fell in with Windblade, who nicknamed her 'Fire' for her rash and reckless behaviour. With Bee Team on Earth and a new High Council instated on Cybertron, Charcoal was invited back but she politely refused. Settling into place at the Rescue Bot's Training Academy & becoming a mentor to a new generation of Rescue Bot recruits; Whirl, Medix, Hoist, Wedge and Hotshot. Charcoal took particular interest in Whirl and Hotshot, helping Blades teach these two young recruits in flying… even if she was overzealous and rash at times.

Strengths: Charcoal is a brave warrior, who will not give up a fight so easily. She is friendly and at times downright resourceful. On the battlefield, whether it's on land in robot mode or flying in her jet mode, Charcoal prefers to use her speed to her advantage, striking the Decepticons hard and fast so they cannot recover from her attacks.

Weakness: Her stubborn nature can often lead her to being overworked and tired out. Charcoal's inquisitive mind can lead to her getting distracted from assignments. Her submachine guns, which use compressed soundwaves, take a while to reload and are prone to jamming frequently. They are rather underpowered as guns, not doing a lot of damage to Decepticon opponents in battles. Charcoal has often refused to let Ratchet upgrade their firepower, for unknown reasons, as she prefers to rely on her swords in combat.
