it was actually 5' 1" that Nintendo said (I never actually saw the source so I come to the conclusion that it's a rumor) and if Mario was 155 centimeters (counting his hat too, which means he would still be a midget because it includes his hat) then this puts Larry at 112.4 centimeters, which is still pretty small because that puts Larry at 3 feet 8 inches, though because of what the Director of Mario Odyssey said about New Donk City right here -  gonintendo.com/stories/293589-… it makes it pretty evident that Mario is not actually 5' 1" or 5' 11" which ever one it was I get confused on that, they apparently also said Mario was 150cm as well which is 4' 11" counting his hat but I think that Odyssey gives us the definitive answer (for now) for it's something that's easy to prove and the director said the reason they had New Donk City look realistic

also, even if you feel the Koopalings are far taller, I'm glad you didn't just throw my calculations out and claim "they're objectively wrong cuz Nintendo said so" like most people on youtube, I try to explain it, and they continue to deny it and say how wrong I am and how I should just accept facts (even though they make me believe even more that it's just some false rumor seeing how they seem to take it getting all annoyed with my calculations and just flat out ignoring them and continuing to get all mad about how I don't think that Mario is 155cm or 183 point something cm or 150cm it's just so confusing)

I'd never do that when it comes to the calculations though, it's proof and hard work of something you're trying to calculate, so I respect your theory. However, just a little bummed out from the heights of some of the characters, but then again, that's why Nintendo exists, just to puzzle our minds, but have a great time.
