Description Finally done. This is a drawing I did of my chihuahua, Misty. The butterfly was done with prismacolor colored pencils and the rest of the portrait was done in with graphite pencils. I added a bell to her collar instead of a boring ID tag because I thought it might be cuter. I am really happy with the outcome of this. It was my first time leaving everything completely unblended. The only part of the drawing that I did blend was the light cast shadow on the ground. After doing a couple still life drawings, I felt like my eye sight was very tuned in terms of tonal flow and shapes. The message I was trying to convey in the drawing is sometimes it's the little things in life that mean the most. Thank you to everyone who commented on the WIP.

wow that certainly would be excellent in a wall. The balance between the greytoned dog and the colored butterfly is just so awesome.

I love your still life drawings the most, that remembers me, i'm going to fav your other dog drawing

This one's cute too! I like the composition and the use of color in a black and white drawing (that sounds wrong but whatever )

Wow, it's so beautiful. Your dog is so cute! I'm such a dog lover, I have two and my sister's dog is currently living here so that makes three! I love them! I was just wondering, how do you hold your pencil? I don't know what's wrong with me, if it's my technique or it's just me, but I can never do a really light stroke.

Again, love the picture. Thanks for reading
Oh, and I don't think I congratulated you on the DD, so congratulations!

Man, you churn these things out every other day (it seems). It's awe inspiring.

I bet the fur was a bitch to do. I don't have a quarter the patience to do something like this (or anything, it would seem).

I love seeing something new. Not that what you've been doing hasn't been amazing, but this really stands out in your gallery. It's very endearing.

Yeah, when I am in the mood I can really crank out the drawings. I have been trying to get alot of drawing done lately. I want alot more work that I can show that will hopefully lead to a couple more commissions. You should sit down right now and start on something new. Glad you like the drawing.
