Description
This is a still life I've been working on for the past couple of days. I wanted to do a small drawing with alot of details. I am pretty happy with the way this turned out although my camera made it a little more grainy than it is in real life. Hope you like it.7"x12" Fabriano Hotpress

I know this is a drawing. I know you've used pencils. But my brain still keeps saying its a photo......It doesn't understand that this IS a photo, but of a very accurate drawing. Amazing!!!

Too crazy!! The value is very nice, especially on the zippo. I also like the reflections, which I guess was the whole point. It is a very nice piece sir.

Brian,
I love this on several levels.
First of all it's a first rate drawing. Powerful technique, beautifully drawn.
P.S. It's politically incorrect in a direction close to me. Smoking and drinking? These are taxed almost out of existence as "sin taxes". Good for you.

I wonder how you achiev to render textures son well ! I can feel the metal of the ligter (grainier for the exterior, very smooth on the inside) , the paper of the cigarette, the little metalic lines on it...
