History: Jenner was born in a small, yet highly sophisticated town that appeared one day along the coast. Jenner, and all other Reveries who lived there, were distinguishable because they had all been born with strange, rabbit-like ears. His people were elegant and refined, and most saw themselves and other Reveries as belonging to a higher class of creatures, above the Lucids. Because of this pride, the inhabitants of the town usually kept themselves isolated from human contact. As far as anyone knew, they had simply been there for generations serving under the town’s royal ruling family.

Jenner’s family, in particular, had a high place in the town’s society. According to the idea of their town’s history, Jenner’s father, grandfather, and all forefathers before them had served as the royal family’s personal doctors. Jenner accepted this responsibility graciously, and was taught by his father how to use light magic, medicinal herbs, and numerous other natural cures for acting as a healer. However, a few weeks before he was to officially take over the position, the prince of the royal family ran away. Distraught after the royal guard’s search for him came up empty-handed, the king and queen turned to their family friends for help. To show his own loyalty, Jenner volunteered to personally search for the prince and bring him home. After packing himself a satchel of supplies printed with the royal family’s crest, Jenner left his hometown and set off into the world for the first time.

Personality: Jenner has been brought up as an aristocrat, and this fact shines through in his personality. He speaks with excessively polite language, and carries himself as elegantly as possible. He has also learned to control his emotions, so he rarely gets visibly upset or excited—he can remain calm, even when in dangerous situations. However, his upbringing has also instilled him with a bit of arrogance, which has caused him to have a negative outlook on Lucids and Revenants. He does feel sympathy for those trapped in REM, especially the younger humans, but nevertheless he feels that their presence is damaging the world.

Abilities:
• Able to heal, or at least improve the condition of, many kinds of small or mild injuries with his magic.
• Knowledgeable of medicinal herbs, and can treat some common illnesses and ailments with them

Misc:
• Although he’s never left his town, Jenner’s formal education has taught him useful things about the world; he knows most key facts about the major cities in REM, as well as information on some common forms of Terrors.
• His satchel carries his money purse, various kinds of herbs, a blanket, a map, a compass, and a container that holds food and water.
• His family includes his father, mother, and younger sister.
• He has excellent hearing, but his eyesight is actually very weak and steadily getting worse.
• He dislikes loud noises, as they hurt his ears.
