A friend of mine did a really rough sketch of a rose and I told her I'd like to color the image for her. She obliged, and using Photoshop goodness, I created the image you see before you.Related content

1st: i love the colors! red and black are maybe my fav colors so this is just *kisses her fingers*
2nd: i looks really good. i mean the leaves and the stalk look great. the green is just the right green for this one
3rd: the rose itself (meaning the flower part) looks very good. the petals go really nicely.

I found a picture of an actual rose and sampled the lightest reds it had as well as the greens, then I used those in my drawing. That's why they're accurate. But thanks for the compliments!!!

tis beautiful...the preview image makes it crap tho, full-view is the best way....but the drop of blood on the end of the stem is a bit crooked....the lens flare is cool, but the circle-type thing on teh lower petal doesn't look right...I know what it's supposed to be, but it's just a bit...weird. Cool pic tho, looks so real...

Oh just one more thing... I made the preview the way I did for a reason. I didn't want to give the whole image away right off the bat, and I realize that this will probably turn some people away who think that's what the entire image is... but I did it so that the majority of people will be like, "Hey what's that?!" and feel inclined to check out the full sized image. Alright enough ranting for now!

Beautiful coloring job. It looks real enough to touch. The preview image doesn't do it justice.
